PUPPY

Journal Entry: Sun Sep 28, 2008, 9:03 PM

i'm supposed to be going to sleep because i'm cold and exhausted, but i had to post this before i went to bed!

*jenSQUARED and i unexpectedly became mommies to a new baby the other day, when we met [and immediately took as ours]

toby maximillian lee!

toby!

toby is three or four weeks old; we're not sure, but we've pegged his birthday as the fifth of september. we don't know what kind of doggy he is; we just know he's adorable, and we love him. <3

some more pictures:

toby!
this is toby's bed for now: a laundry basket filled with warm blankies and some t-shirts. he's too little to keep himself warm, so jen and i have to keep him covered all the time. he likes to crawl out of his blankies, though, haha. [you can see my feets and his big brother charlie's head, too.]

toby!
this is toby with his new big brother charlie, who we've had for about ten months or so, i think? charlie's excited to have a new puppy around, but he's not sure what to do with toby, haha.

toby!
me holding toby! just for size comparison. he's tiiiiny, heheh. <3

I hope you guys can handle a puppy with their weak bladders and all. Might be a boxer mix, hound mix, or terrier mix; won't know till his a little bigger.

FAIL THE UNFAILABLE.
:iconsilverava:
D'AAWWWWW that's such a cute puppy!! :DDDD <33
:iconc-rae:
oh, he's doing pretty well so far. he can't get out of his bed on his own, so he'll whine if he wants out, and we'll take him right to his potty box, and he'll go. when he's down on the floor playing, we'll watch him close, and move him into his box if we think he's gonna do something. for right now, he sleeps most of the time, so he's not too much trouble in that sense. (:
:iconemo-shukun:
Haha, just wait another five weeks, you'll see. Technically, it's best to watch him as much as possible because the attempt to go randomly sometimes, but as long as his ';potty box' is away from his bed and food, then it's all good. You say he's around a month old, so within two months he'll be able to get a little more energy, then at four months he'll be ready to run hotlaps around you. But you should get him socialize as soon as possible or he'll end up like Praline.
